Malus ioensis
This is a beautiful, hard-to-get, native crabapple tree! We've been trying to get some of these trees to offer for several years, and this is our first success! Produces pink and whitish pink blossoms with yellow anthers, and flowers mature into greenish yellow fruits. A good choice of ornamental plant with a great deal of value to wildlife, especially native pollinators. Prefers moist, well-drained soil and tolerates rocky, alkaline soils. Prefers full sun.
